Bandai's 'Plannosaurus' dinosaur plastic model series encourages you to learn about dinosaurs by assembling them yourself from the skeleton out! Begin with the 'skeletal build,' assembling the dinosaur's skeleton piece by piece; the 'dinosaur build' then allows you to attach the outer skin parts to the skeleton. Nippers and glue are not required, so they're easy to assemble, too!

This model kit of the Parasaurolophus, with its distinctive crest, allows you to build either a male or female version with different selectable crests. The long, flat tail that balances the body on land and functions as a propeller when swimming is reproduced in detail; the large, uniquely shaped pelvic bone is also realistically expressed. Based on research on fossils of closely related species, it's believed that this species had mane-like scales on its back, similar to those of iguanas, and these are also included. The forelimbs, hind limbs, neck and tail of this kit will also be movable when completed, so you can display it in your favorite pose; a display base is included too.
